Initial visit:
Children have a wonderful way of telling us (parents as well as teachers) whether they are comfortable.  So we encourage you to come for a visit together with your child.  

It is helpful if you let us know you are coming, but you can just drop in if you prefer.
During this visit we will show you around the whole childcare centre and, in particular, the area where your child will start.  You can ask any questions that you have, talk about your childs particular needs, discuss what will suit you best, hear about the enrolment process, and see things as they happen in the centre. 
Settling visit(s):
Most children like it if Mum and/or Dad stay with them until they feel comfortable.  We encourage that too.  We will work with you to make that as quick and easy as we can.  And, after you have left, we can let you know how things are going.
Enrolment:
There is time during a settling visit to do the paper-work.  We will ask you to tell us about what you want for your child and about any medical things that we need to know.  And, of course, the enrolment form itself needs to be filled out.
Please bring your child's birth certificate and immunisation record - we will need a copy. 
WINZ can provide subsidies to help parents with childcare fees.  This is an enquiry you will need to make yourself.  However there is a piece of the application form that the childcare centre must fill out - so please bring it with you, and we can help you with that part of the application.
The enrolment form contains important information.  It tells you our obligations to you as the childcare provider.  But it also says what we need from you.  So please read it carefully as you fill it out and sign it.
